This morning we finally got the weather we've been waiting on to take our first spring zoo trip this year. And just in time too because today they opened the Zoorasic exhibits in the zoo. They have mechanical dino's positioned all throughout the zoo for a little extra fun. We got to see some of our favorite dino's and a couple even spit water on Caleb. And the boys got to dig for dino bones and Caleb got to join in a story about a Utah Ceratops with a group of other kids.
Of course we had loads of fun looking at all the regular animals as well and got to see some very active tigers playing with a ball hanging from a tree and one of them playing with a ball in the water. And it wouldn't have been a trip to the zoo without a ride on the carousel and the train. We were sad that the bears and zebra's had been shipped away while they build the new Arctic exhibit, but am excited to see that coming along.
After we were done it was just about lunch time, so Mike was nice enough to take me to indulge in my craving for a burger at Ruth's Diner up Emigration Canyon since we were right there. It was delicious as always. What a great Saturday morning with my boys!
