It was finally time to go to Grandma Nette's annual Christmas party! This is the party that we look forward to every year and the party that Santa usually makes it to so we can tell him our wishes. This year we had a yummy spaghetti dinner and then Santa walked right in. We weren't sure how Faith would react since she's been hesitant in the past, but boy was she excited! She ran right over and gave him a big hug, as did the twins.
And followed him wherever she went while she excitedly told the rest of us that "Santa here!" It was too cute. The kids took turns sitting on his lap and getting a little present. Caleb stuck with his. "I don't want anything for Christmas" kick he's been on.
And Zaden asked for a rocket. No idea where this idea came from.
When it was Faith's turn, she climbed up there with more big hugs and stuff to tell Santa. She didn't want to get off his lap when it was time for her turn to be over. She wanted to ask for a princess she told us, but instead she told him, "I'm a princess!" It was too cute.
Poor Zaric ended up being the last one called up there. He was soooo patient though and when Santa pulled that last gift out before he could look at the name, Zaric started yelling, "It's me! It's me!" And by process of elimination, he was right! He climbed up there with big cheesy grins for Mom and asked also for a rocket like his brother did.
Then it was time to open the presents. The boys all got Kinex building sets of Mario Bro's stuff and Faith got her first My Little Pony. She asked Santa to help her open it.
She was seriously so darling with him. They all were really. Even my sister's little boy, Wyatt, was all about Santa much to our surprise as well.
After the kids were done, us adults took some turns taking pics with the big guy. Here's me and Mike.
And a fun group shot we got. Sadly Maygun and DaNell were missing and Wyatt wondered off before the time could go off. But, this is most of us.
Thanks Grandma Nette and Papa Kevin for another good party. Christmas is always more fun because we get to do this with you guys.
