Last weekend, we took advantage of the still high temperatures and went to get our Halloween adventures kicked off. We started by heading to Gardner Village for our normal witch Scavenger Hunt. But this year they added something incredibly fun. The Six Hags Adventure!
We were greeted by some real witches and invited into their house to show us around and tell us a little about what they do. This is Jinx telling us all about it.
Then we headed out to their back yard where Caleb got the spa treatment and a new hairdo from Lucinda. And Faith got to feed her pet frogs some mermaid scales.
And then we received a cooking lesson from Lucinda as well.
And then I got to shake it off with her in the cemetery
We then had to learn the secret combinations and dance to get the doors to open to the next area.
After 3 fake doors, we finally made our way through the correct one and it led us to the obstacle course, corn pit and hay maze. We went through tunnels, down slides, across spider webs, and through brooms.
But the very best part was the corn pit where we practiced our swan dives, made corn angels and buried Caleb in the corn.
After having our fill of the obstacles in the tent, we headed back outside to the giant jumping pillow and climbing frog.
What a great adventure! I highly recommend it and who knows? We may even end up there again before Halloween rolls around.
