The fun began on Thursday when the boys got to wear their Halloween costumes to school for their annual Halloween parade and Halloween parties. Since they are unable to wear masks to school. Caleb had to have a second costume this year to participate.
The twins asked me to help with their party, so I took the day off to stay after the parade and Faith and I helped out with one of the games. She even got to play DJ with the music.
We started off Friday by taking the kids around to my office and Mike's to show off our costumes and hand out some candy to our co-workers. Everyone loved it. The best part for me was that my co-worker, Chris, brought in his brand new baby girl Scarlet to share in her adorable ice cream cone costume. I seriously could have held her all day.
After making the rounds, it was back home to have a snack and wait for Grandma Nette and Papa Kevin to arrive. We took them out for a little lunch then the kids wanted to take them to Gardner Village to show them the witches. We walked around and found the witches, go to have a little dance party on the stage, feed some ducks and even got to pet a passing alpaca. It was so fun.
Grandma and Papa stayed for a little slumber party while us grown ups went out to a concert and then Saturday the three littles were off to Price with them to help prepare for Grandma's Halloween party. They got to attend the party and play and eat yummy stuff. We arrived later after C's football game and joined in for Trick or Treating to a few houses before they were just too wiped out from all the fun to party any more.
Hope you all had a great Halloween as well.
