A Day on the Farm

This morning I realized that today was the last full Friday of summer that I had home with the kids so decided we should make these last few days count. I opted to take the kids to Wheeler Farm, partly because it's easy, partly because it's free, partly because we haven't been this summer and mostly because it's located very close to Mike's work.  He couldn't get away to join us at the farm, but we had a great time visiting the animals, learning how they used to spin wool, talking about black-smithing with one of the employees and taking a wagon ride around some of the back areas that we don't normally see.

After we were done, Mike was able to sneak away to join us for a late lunch. We hit up the Red Robin near his work where the best part were these fun Burger stools. We want some for home.
