Last week Mike's work hosted a family-oriented Christmas party. Something they haven't done in a while. We were so excited to go and try out something new. First we got all dressed to impress. The gloves really complete the outfit don't ya think?
Then we were off for a night of food, conversation and ice skating for the first time. Caleb tried a couple trips around the rink then gave up quickly and retired to the game room to learn how to shoot pool. Faith loved it, but since she would only go with Mom helping her, I didn't get any pics. The real stars of the show though were these two twinners! After several trips around with Mom and Dad, they were ready to take the the ice on their own.
I was able to take a few video's of their efforts and despite many falls, they were persistent to get it right. I've never seen them so determined, especially when trying something for the first time.
They absolutely loved it and have been asking over and over to go again. Looks like we are going to have to find some time to take a trip ice skating again soon.
