Party Shenanigans

Along with Santa coming to the party, we also had a few Shenanigans going on. We started off with an ugly gift exchange. The rules being the one left with the ugliest gift from the gifts given would be the loser and have to post a pic to FB exclaiming how much they love it. The winner who bought said ugliest gift, would win a title-prize.  After a little gift exchange game, we all opened our gifts to reveal our goodies, a vote was taken and this gift won the ugliest gift title.

The Loser ended up being DaNell who ended up with it. But the winner.....was none other than Yours Truly. That's right, I have the ultimate eye for all things ugly and purchased this bad boy the minute I saw it. Not only does he look ugly, but he makes ugly sounds like burping, farting and the sound of flies buzzing around his head. Oh yes.....there was no competition! And to top it off the prize I won was the title of Holiday Cheermeister, complete with sash and crown.

After the Santa fun, we started up a game of Human Hungry Hungry Hippos.  We paired up in teams and went for it. Ladies first, of course.

Then we switched places with our partners and let the guys have a wack at it.

After we totalled up the number of balls received after both partners went. These cheaters ended up being the winners. And the prizes were a hand made hippopotamus trophy and a hippo that dances and sings to "I want  a Hippopotamus for Christmas."  Ugg, I'm so bummed that I didn't win.

The kids then took over and had a ball playing the game themselves as well.

It was seriously so much fun. I can't wait to do it again or come up with another equally as crazy game to play next year. And next time we won't let those cheaters win!
