Denver 2014- Day 1

This year for family vacation, we opted to go somewhere within driving distance and that we had never been to as a family. After someone suggested Denver and I started looking into things to do there, it looked to provide a nice little get-away for us. On day 1 we drove and drove and drove some more.

Once we arrived, we were tired of being in the truck, so we took a walk to dinner. And ended up at Hard Rock Cafe.

After a yummy meal and some shopping in the gift shop, we walked back toward the hotel and the kids had to stop at the convention center and get a picture by the big blue bear. Faith found him completely hilarious looking into the windows.

We ended up in town a couple hours later than planned due to construction along the way but overall, it wasn't a bad start to the trip.
