Bird Rock was pretty covered in the fog. But with some persistence, we did manage spot some seals on it as well as the birds and some sea otters playing in the water.

17 Mile Drive (Anniversay Trip Day 5)
We got an early-ish start our last morning and decided to try out 17 Mile Drive that goes from Carmel to Pacific Grove and Monterey. It's just a pleasant drive with many little sights to stop at along the way and if you are a golfer, many courses along the way to enjoy. Because it was earlier in the morning, the fog was still pretty think and we had a hard time seeing some of the sights as well as we would have liked to but that didn't stop us from enjoying what we could see. We first stopped at Spanish Bay.
And then at the Restless Sea stop
These guys were hanging out right next to the road near Bird Rock.

Then a couple super cute seals when we found Seal Rock. Love those little faces.

We then cut through the middle so we could head out the other side into Pacific Grove and Monterey.
