Here we already are at the last couple days of January. This year is flying by already! It's been a pretty laid back month for us and we've spent a lot of time just being home and together. I thought it might be fun to post a few pics from the month that I didn't blog about earlier. So here we go.
This January:
We kept the football rivalries alive and well:
We upgraded Faith to her new big girl booster seat which she was thrilled about
She also started dance lessons and is loving them.
Caleb got his top braces put on.
We did a quick overnight trip to Price to visit my family. When the plans to go to a movie didn't work out, we went on a quadruple date and did a little bowling. We were very serious bowlers....I ended up winning for like the first time ever. Very fun.
Then we took our dates and convened at Papa's house for a round of Apples to Apples.
And I've spent lots of time driving kids around and enjoying my Fridays off with this chick in the mornings, shopping, doing lunches and taking silly selfies together.
Otherwise it's been lots of video games, homework and movies here at the hacienda de la Ouren. Great month!

Paint Nite: Take 2
I had so much fun earlier this week at another paint nite. What started off as me going with a couple co-workers ended up with a group of 9 of us going to dinner, having some drinks and painting the night away.
And I have to admit, this time the picture turned out way better than the last time I went. Way, way, way better. I'm pretty impressed. I even managed to impress my artist husband and for those that know him that is no small feat. Here's my mostly finished product.
And a group pic of all of our beautiful mountain scenes.
I've found it to be a relaxing and fun way to go out on a week night with some friends and co-workers and I'm already looking forward to the next time. :)

Happy 2015!
Happy New Year! We hope 2015 is treating you well so far.
For New Years Eve this year we didn't do a whole lot. Mike worked and I stayed home with the kids. We ended up going to dinner with a friend and then playing a game of "Would you Rather" that Caleb got for Christmas with him which turned out hilarious. Then the boys played video games. Only half of us made the midnight mark and as you can guess, I was not part of that half.......again!
On New Years day, we decided to take advantage of Mike's day off and ring in the new year with the fishies at the aquarium. We saw all the exhibits, touched some exhibits, watched a 4D movie in the theater and had a snack in the cafeteria before heading through the gift shop and letting the kids pick out a new souvenir with their leftover Christmas gift mula (Thanks GAP!). Here are some fun pics to share of our day.
It was a great way to spend a few hours then it was back home for more playing together and enjoying or last few days of Christmas break.
