Of course since I had the camera out, I snapped some pics of Faith enjoying the summer day and running around during the boy's games today. She was full of energy and fun the whole 2 hours of soccer.

Soccer Season's End
This has seemed like the longest soccer season ever. Between the season starting late and several rained out and made up games, it was starting to seem like it would never end. But today was finally the last official games. Since it was the last ones, I took along the camera for some action shots starting with Caleb's game. They ended up winning for a change, so it was a nice finish for him.
Then the twins game right after. They weren't real sure they wanted to participate until I told them they would get their trophies if they tried hard.
And here they are, so proud of their trophies.
Way to go Red Dragons and Warriors!

For the Birds!
Yesterday morning we decided to go on a summer outing and use our Pass of all Passes for a cheap activity. We chose to go to the Tracy Aviary. It was just me and the kids, so I was wondering how it might go but it went great! I seriously could not have asked for better. They were well behaved and enjoyed seeing all the exotic birds, feeding the ducks, all the interactive displays and the coloring in guest services. We also stayed long enough to catch a bird show which they loved. Here's a few pics of the day.
After we were done there, Mom had packed a picnic lunch for us and we went into Liberty park and spread some blankets under a tree and ate together. Then it was back home to rest and watch some movies until Mom went to work.
What a great day....Helllooooooo Summer! :)

I LOVE Tutu's!
Faith informed me this morning while getting her dressed that she loves tutu's. She's so funny some days. She's been walking around all morning twirling it for me (hence the blurry pic). What a girly-girl.
1st Day of Summer
For our official first day of summer, Dad was traveling for work and Mom needed to run some errands ( I know, drats!). So we set off early in the morning for Kid to Kid where I was able to sell some of Faith's old clothes she's grown out of (hooray!). After that it was lunch time and since we were in the neighborhood, Mom decided to take them to one of her favorite pizza places, The Pie.
We shared a yummy pepperoni pizza and some cheese bread and then went next door to the library and let them play in the fountains for a few minutes.
We then set back off for more errands and then home for some r&r and to wait for Daddy to get home. It was a fun little start to summer and glad we were able to throw some fun in the middle of blah stuff.
