Chalk Art Fest 2014

In keeping with our yearly Father's Day weekend tradition, we hit up the chalk art festival on Saturday morning. We love going and watching all of the artists do their thing. We walked around for a while, hit a couple stores, had some lunch and then took some pics of our favorites before heading home to relax for the rest of the day. It was a really nice time. Here's some of the favorites to share.

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium

The new aquarium is finally up and running and we've been dying to go. Luckily for me, my good friend from clear back in Jr High days has been in town visiting and has wanted to hang out. The first time we went to the new splashpad near our house and this time we hit up the aquarium. Other than an embarrassing throw-up incident with Zaric, it was a good time and we enjoyed exploring it and having some lunch there together. Here's some pics of the fun.

We ended up buying a membership. So we can go back many times this year and hopefully we take advantage of that.

Water

Summer has barely begun and already it's been all about water. We've been to a splash pad, set up the pool/slip N slide the twins got for their Bday and ran through the sprinkler numerous times.  I think they are about to sprout some gills.
