Today was a split up day for us. Caleb went with his cousin Sam and his mom to Play Dayze and the zoo, the twins went with Grandma to Great Aunt Peggy's house to make their own birthday cakes and Mike, Faith and I took a quick trip to Ashland, trying to catch his old art teacher in his studio.
Unfortunately, he wasn't in so we went back to town and enjoyed a nice lunch just the 3 of us at The Cheesecake Factory. I think someone was enjoying her one on one time with us.
After lunch, we stopped by Great Aunt Peg's to check on the cake progress then it was back to Great Aunt Sue's for a little down time and playing with doggies time in the yard. Once it was time for dinner, Mike and I treated the group to pizza and they treated the twins to a little birthday party for them. They had their cakes they made, and opened presents and enjoyed being the center of attention. Here's some fun pics from that.
It was another fun day and a good end to our stay there. We spent Day 7 traveling back in one day. I'm pretty proud of my travelers though, overall they did great.
Thanks for the fun trip Omaha family! Can't wait to see you all again.
