Omaha Spring Break Trip Days 6 & 7

We were happy to get a couple of less busy days at the end of our trip. On day 6 we went on a small trip with Great Aunt Sue to Ashland to visit Mike's old art teacher at his gallery.  It was a very, very good visit and thanks to Great Aunt Peg and the Great Grandparent's for watching the kids while we went.  We also didn't leave there empty handed as I talked Mike into buying me another of his paintings. I can't wait for it to arrive in the mail so I can hang it. I have the perfect spot already in mind.

After returning home, we gathered up the kids and were able to meet Mike's Dad, Charlie for a quick visit while the kids played. They enjoyed some sprites and cookies and the McD's playplace while we enjoyed a little chat.

Then it was back to Sue's for dinner as we were in charge of feeding the group this night. Dinner turned out yummy and we enjoyed some more chatting with everyone for our last night in town.

Day 7 mostly consisted of packing and some laundry, but we did sneak away for some lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and said our final good bye's. Grandma Braska went with us to the airport and we were able to have one last small visit with her before flying home. The flight home was a little more hectic than the flight there , but we made it and were so happy to be home.

Thanks Omaha family for the great times and memories. See you all next year!
