Happy belated 4th of July! We have been busy this week recovering from our trip last weekend to Bear Lake with some of my family for the 4th of July. This was something new for us to go and do for the holiday and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
My sister, her family and my mom and step dad decided to join us as well and we all set out on July 3rd for the big drive with our camp trailers. They arrived ahead of us and got set up and waited patiently for our arrival. We got there in the early afternoon and got our camp set up. Then went out for pizza at Bear Lake Pizza Co. We then went to find the others camp sites and visited for a bit before heading back to our camp to play in the swimming pool for a bit.There were many cannon balls and fun had there. Sadly I didn't take the camera over, so no pics of that fun.
Next up was fireworks at the Ideal Beach Resort. We hit a little snafu on the way when Zaric had stopped to pet some horses at my sister's camp and we found out the hard way that he's allergic. So after sending the other kids on to set up at the fireworks venue, we took him back to camp for some meds and loves.
His poor little eye on the left swelled pretty much shut- this pic is well after the meds. But he was a trooper and we made it back to the venue just in time to not miss any of the fireworks on the beach. It was a beautiful evening and the fireworks show was awesome. Everyone had a great time.
Faithy latched onto Taylor right away and was his girl for the fireworks and pretty much the rest of the weekend.

Great overall start to our trip.
