Mom Date Day- Round 2 Pre-Birthday Date

On the second date Friday which was the day before she turned 4, we got to do some pre-birthday activities.  First off, we took the boys to school then met up with Dad close to his work for some breakfast out at Village Inn. Then it was off for a little shopping while we waited for the mall to open. Once the mall opened up, I took her to the surprise location- Build A Bear. I told her she could pick out any of the animals she wanted and she went straight for a My Little Pony.  She asked her helper to put the My Little Pony sound in.

Then helped stuff it
And gave it a bath and a good brushing

Then we spent some time, picking out the perfect outfit, shoes, roller skates, a leash and glasses for the ultimate Pony get-up.
We gave it the name Blush and printed out her birth certificate. Our friend, Holly, then showed up with an early present for her since she wasn't going to be able to make the party. A brand new mermaid doll that really swims in water.  Then we took Miss Blush and headed over to Toys R Us for her to spend some time picking out some Strawberry Shortcake toys she's been dying for with some early Bday money she had already gotten in the mail that was burning a hole in her pocket. After we were done there, she got to take treats to hand out to her friends in her preschool class and they celebrated with a crown and a personal sized cake from her teachers.  A pretty great pre-birthday date indeed.
