The Ultimate Little Mermaid Party- Part 1...The Prep

Faith has been dying for a Little Mermaid party for quite a while. So of course, I've been in planning mode for a while as well. But the day finally arrived, our little girl turned 4!!!!!! And if Ariel is what she wants, that's what we delivered. We started off with some decor (thanks Pinterest for some inspiration).

Fist off Dad made these awesome invitations (some info omitted on this copy for security reasons):

Then Dad made this awesome banner , the food tents and pictures for around the decor areas.
I made some jellyfish to hover over the food area
I stopped for some balloons to put in the gift area and we surprised her with a new princess big girl bike in the morning.

I made her birthday cake and cupcakes and set up the table complete with a candelabra full of dinglehoppers.
And we had some fun with the character names for food ideas:

Under the Sea Snails

 Prince Eric's Fish N Chips
 Chef's Fish Bait
 Flounders Friends
 Scuttles Oyster Cookies
 Ariel's Mermaid tail fruit
 Sebastians Croissant Crabs

To drink we had some Ursula's Magic Potion Punch (not pictured). Then we set up some activity area's outside with a sand art table, an Ariel Slip N Slide and and Ariel Sprinkler and kiddie pool (not pictured).

I also created a backdrop for a very special guest complete with water, fish, and a treasure box - to be seen in Part 2.
