We took the opportunity this weekend to get to enjoy some family time and get a little festive.
We started off with our annual trip to the Festival of Trees. Didn't take many pics of the trees this year. But snapped a couple of these sillies.
Afterwards we got to enjoy a nice dinner out and then headed on a little trip to Thanksgiving Point to make a couple friends. Say "Hello" to our close buddies Comet and Cupid.
And right next to these guys, we got to watch the Ice-guy carve out a Frosty the Snowman out of ice with a chainsaw- Pretty awesome to watch. The boys were pretty mesmerized by it.
Afterwards we finished off our adventure by making a stop by the Draper Tree of Life. Over 1,000 strands of lights. It was pretty spectacular.
It was a wonderful end to a crazy week of Dad being gone. So glad he made it back safely and got to enjoy these things with us.
