San Francisco Part 5 (Anniversary trip Day 3)

Once we were back at the hotel, we decided that we weren't really feeling the original plan of walking to Chinatown, so we did the next best thing (something I'd secretly been wanting to do anyway) and looked up the nearest cable car route that went near there. Lucky for us it was just a block from our hotel and we were able to catch one quickly and get the real San Francisco experience, like good little tourists.

Once we ventured into China Town we made sure to take the touristy pics at the gates, and walked around and checked out many shops while buying a couple souvenirs once more.

Once we'd had our fill, we walked over to Union Square where I wanted to behold the ceiling inside of the Nieman Marcus. I know, sounds silly, but I had read on a blog about it and wanted to see if it was really that pretty in person and just so you know, it was!

Then since it was right there and it's one of our favorites, we went to the Cheesecake Factory to share a dinner and most importantly get some dessert!  Then we decided to take the long walk back through the financial district and back along the wharf to walk all 42ish pier's back to the hotel. We stopped at pier 7 for some pics and to walk down it with the lights lighting it up.

Then Mike snapped this one last photo of San Francisco  to commemorate our time there since we'd be saying goodbye in the morning and moving onto our next destination.
