Chicago- Part 2

Millenial Park was a pretty cool place. The trees were all in their spring blooming phase which was beautiful, even if the were a little stinky with the aroma they were putting off.

And we found Cloud Gate, aka The Bean, aka The Giant Jelly Bean. The kids were enthralled by it. They kept running around it and hugging it and enjoying looking at their reflection in it.

After this, we were feeling a little pooped from the long day and it was starting to rain a bit which thwarted my plans of going to check out Navy Pier, so we decided to get checked into our hotel and try to do a little swimming. Unfortunately, the pool was closed so we ended up just ordering some room service, and enjoying the city view from our room while relaxing for the rest of the evening.

It was a great whirlwind afternoon of exploring Chicago. I only wish that we would have had more time to see more things. I guess we will have to come back again some day. ;)
