Early the next morning, we were off to make our way to Omaha with a little road trip. We started up the tunes and got the kids all set up with their electronic devices and away we went!
I did have to make a little stop along the way for a cheesy state line pic, I don't believe I had one of Iowa yet. Although ,we had visited once before. Situation, remedied!
Once we hit Des Moines (about 2 hours outside Omaha), we met up with Grandma Braska for a late lunch/early dinner and to spread out between the cars for the rest of the trip into Omaha. Caleb traded his 3 siblings for one of Grandma's doggies and stayed in the rental van with us. He still thinks he got the better end of the deal.
We made it into Omaha in time to make it to the wedding rehearsal and rest our weary heads at Great Aunt Sue's. And we were ready for the rest of the weekends festivities!
