Lantern Fest- Family Style

Since Mike and I had such a good time at the last festival, we decided to take the kids to their first Lantern festival as well.  We got there early and spent some time decorating our lanterns, getting our faces painted, getting balloon animals, meeting princesses,  playing in the bounce houses, roasting S'mores and enjoying some picnic style dinner. 

And when the time was just right, we took turns lighting them and letting them go.

The kids and I agree. It was magical. They already can't wait to do it again.
