Well, it's official. My little boy turned 12 on Friday against my wishes (kids never listen, do they?). He started off his morning by opening his presents from Mom and Dad. As you can tell he was both surprised and over-joyed by what we got him.
After school, we let him invite a few friends and do a small party at a local trampoline park. Everyone had a blast to include Dad. We got to jump for over an hour on all the different courts, decorate the walls in the Birthday room, open gifts from friends, and have pizza and cake. Can't beat that!
He also received some cards from those out of town with some cashola and a gift card which he promptly took to Sports Authority to get him some shiny new football gloves. He's already working on breaking them in for next season. He sends a special thank you to everyone that sent those from afar.
So much fun! What a great Birthday!
