Gardner Village and Playtime

Yesterday was Caleb's preschool program (stay tuned for videos). Papa Ringo and Leyton drove up for it. Afterwards we went to Gardner Village since we were right there anyway and had lunch at Archibalds and then walked around a little. We didn't have a ton of time but did a couple of the highlights. Here is Caleb and Leyton on one of the bridges that goes across the pond.

And here they are running over the bridge when I told them we were going into the candy store :). Couldn't get there fast enough.

Ever heard the expression "like kids in a candy store". Well here it is. And yes, I think Papa is one of them. ;)

We also went to the coy pond and watched the fishies swim around. There used to be quarter machines to feed the fish. Does anyone know what happened to them? Caleb was pretty bummed that we didn't get to feed them. But there were some fun ducks swimming around. I loved the white ones.

Here's Papa holding the twins on the railing while they watched the fountain and the ducks.

And Caleb and Leyton got to go on Pony rides.

But the fun didn't stop there. We had to come back to the house and Caleb was so thrilled to actually have another kid to play in the yard with. He's not allowed to play out front by himself but since there was a 2nd kid there he could. In less than 20 minutes they had ridden bikes and the scooter and started their own baseball game.

Then they got out Caleb's Powerwheel 4-wheeler and took turns driving it around and then decided it was faster to ride around together.

We were sad when it was time for them to leave but Caleb then took his brothers for rides on the 4-wheeler. They loved it. You can't tell in the pics but they were very talky and looking all around during it. As a matter of fact, Zaden wanted to go a 2nd time after Zaric's turn.

It was a fun afternoon.
