Pre-Fourth Fun

We knew we weren't going to have the kids this year for the 4th of July. They were going to be spending the holiday in Price with Papa and Grandma. So we decided to have a little pre-celebration with them. After a long day of work and playing at the baby sitter's, I broke these cuties out for dinner that I found at Costco last week and made some festive dinner.
Then I got Faith ready in her first festive outfit for the occasion (sorry sideways pics).  The boys didn't want theirs on yet so I just dolled her up.

It just so worked out that Mike's work was having their summer party that night. This year they chose to go to a Real Salt Lake professional soccer game. It was such a perfect outing/pre celebration for us.  We enjoyed the game and of course snow cones and goodies during it. And the game ended in a tie 2-2. Go Real!

After the game, our section got moved to the field which Caleb thought was amazing that he would get to actually be on the field and they had a big fireworks show. We weren't sure it would be any good. But it was awesome and the kids loved it!

Then it was home to rest our tired heads before another big day tomorrow.
