Yellowstone Day 4- (geysers, hotsprings, thermal areas)

It was back into the park for some more fun on Day 4. First off we stopped at the sign for the 45th parallel and took some pics.

And then some thermal area's along the road where the water was being so heated this day, it was boiling.

We stopped by Upper and Lower Geyser Basin and Beryl Springs on the way. And then it was time for the main stop of the day, Old Faithful. We took some pics before it went off and then some more during and had some lunch at the grill and did a little shopping in the gift shop.

We then stopped at Midway Geyser basin.

By then we'd had our fill of geysers, hot spring and thermal areas and since it was raining off and on, we decided to save the lake for the next day and head back. Which seemed to be the right call because we saw these big fella's on the way back.

And more importantly, we then saw 2....yes 2 Grizzly bears! One was super close to the road and I got good pics. The other one was a little further away. We stopped and talked to the ranger to make sure they were Grizzlies and he confirmed they were and told us what they were doing and how and why. It was really fun and great info for Caleb who was doing the asking.

Another great day in the park.
