Helmet No More and Ear Man!

I am happy to report that after another appt with the plastic surgeon today, we are officially done with the helmet therapy for Zaden. We are relieved and I am pretty sure he is too. He hasn't really shown it one way or the other yet today but I think after the first night of sleeping an entire night without it in almost 3 months, he'll be a little happier in the morning.

We went in for another Zaric ear check on Tuesday and surprise, surprise he has another ear infection. The Dr. doesn't quite think that it's time to go for tubes right now and given that Mom and Caleb were sick a little last week he thinks it could have been partly caused by catching a little of that. Also he was a little raspy, Dr. thinks gunk in his lungs could be the reason or from his ears and sharing it back and forth. He also speculated some possible asthma issues but it's waay too early to tell that for sure or not yet. So we have an antibiotic again for the ears and then we are doing Nebulizer treatments for his breathing a few times a day as he needs it. We still had Caleb's Nebulizer from when he had RSV as a baby so we are glad we kept that around, it's come in handy again. Otherwise he is still one happy baby and had passed the 20 lb mark already. He was 20 lbs 3.5 oz when they weighed him yesterday. We didn't get to weigh Tank but assume he's pretty much the same at this point so we will have no troubles turning them front facing for their first Bdays in just one month from today. Hooray, I can't wait!
