New Year's Eve

This is Sarah. She's my "Mentor Mom" from the Salt Lake Mother's of Twins club that I joined over the summer. We've been having a good time emailing back and forth and sharing our adventures with our twins. She has a 3 year old boy and then boy-girl twins who are over a year. She's been a great help and so much fun to talk to and call my friend. She's just as goofy as I am so we totally hit it off right from the start. She was nice enough to invite us along to the Gateway last night to do the kids activities that were going on there as part of the First Night celebration that SLC holds every year, so we finally got to meet in person.

At Discovery Gateway they had a couple of booths set up for the kids to make crafts. Caleb made a homemade maraca and then this stylin mask. He wore it all over walking around. We walked over to Clark too since they were supposed to be having activities there too but it was more like just walk around and look at the exhibits and the kids seems bored after just a couple of things so we left there shortly.

At 6 'oclock there was a little parade and some activities going on in the Grand Hall where they had a fake countdown and little laser show going on. We stood in line for over an hour to get a silly balloon animal. This is Caleb's fish on a fishing pole he got. It was so cute. Then as soon as we left Mike accidentally popped part of it getting in the car. So after an hour in line, it lasted all of about 20 minutes.

We had a good time and hope to get together with her and her family again soon. Such cute kids and fun people. Thanks again Sarah for the invite!
